My painting practice draws on personal experience, using self-portraiture, symbolic imagery, and emotionally charged objects to explore grief, memory, and care. Objects often act as stand-ins for people or emotions, shaping a visual language rooted in intimacy. I am particularly interested in how care can be expressed visually through quiet gestures, attentive composition, and acts of preservation and remembrance.
